Dear IAM Members:
Yesterday a message was posted about an IAM member in the Dominican Republic, referring to a dispute in service. First of all, my apologies for that being posted. I am the gatekeeper for what gets to the live site. However, I never saw the message when it was in moderation. I am investigating how it became live on the site and how we can streamline our processes internally to ensure this does not happen again.
The Social Cafe is not a good place to settle disputes with other IAM members. We have the RPP as well as the Code of Ethics to help with any disputes and other perceived unethical behavior. That is the best place to start if you feel that your company has been wronged or gone without payment.
What will happen on the public forum, if we do have disputes posted here, is:
Note that we will continue to allow posts about non-IAM members. However, if you have a dispute with a fellow IAM member, you will not be allowed to post it here.
